New Home Setup

Beautiful Countertop

Setting up a new home for a busy mom can be a daunting task, but Sort Story made the process smooth and stress-free. At Sort Story, we don’t just organize spaces—we also craft the unique story of each space we work in. Here’s the story of one client who needed a child-proof home.

Crockery Cabinet

The first step in child-proofing was to carefully analyze the client’s belongings and the space. We ensured that only kid-friendly items were placed in the lower shelves of cabinets and drawers throughout the house.

Minimalist Wardrobe Organizing

A particular challenge in this project was the lack of hanging space. The client expressed difficulty in managing stacks of clothes. We found the perfect solution using IKEA Stuk organizers, which allowed clothes to be file-folded and stored vertically. This approach was instantly appoved by the client, as she could see all her clothing at a glance and easily access them by pulling out the entire organizer, eliminating the issue of items getting lost in the back of the cupboard shelves

Kitchen Containers Organizing

In the kitchen, the focus was on ensuring that frequently used items were easily accessible. We organized the lower cabinets with storage bins and a pan organizer, making the kitchen more functional for a busy mom. We also ensured optimising the height of the cabinets above the counter with the help of shelf risers. This ensured everything to be at easy access in the compact kitchen.

For the vanity area, acrylic drawer organizers were used, which excited the client as it allowed her to see all her makeup items and hair accessories at a glance.

Toys Cupboard

The highlight of the project was the toy cupboard, which the kid loved. Clear bins were used, enabling the child to see all her toys, even those on the top shelves. We ensured that the toy which requires minimal vigilance were placed on the lower shelves for easy access. The toys which required adult supervision were kept at the higher shelves. No Sort Story project is complete without labelling. Labelling each bin and basket is a game-changer for maintenance, ensuring that the system remains organized with minimal effort.
