An efficient and functional kitchen requires a clutter-free and organized space. Let's take a look at how we transformed a kitchen, creating an aesthetically pleasing and highly functional system for a client who needed it.
We began by removing all items and categorizing them. After decluttering by discarding unused, damaged, and unnecessary items with the client's assistance, we sorted the remaining items into categories. We assigned a specific place for each category and started organizing them accordingly. We also utilized organizers for the pans.
We used clear containers for grocery items and labelled each one. All glassware was unpacked and designated a specific cabinet. To maximize space, we employed shelf risers and used a step organizer for the spices.
We set up a coffee corner with the coffee maker and assigned a cabinet above it for the tea and coffee collection. Shelf risers were used to organize the coffee mugs, while drawer storage under the sink was designated for cleaning supplies.
Paper towels and wraps were assigned their own spot. A three-tier organizer was used for onions, potatoes, tomatoes, and garlic, and all the chopping boards were neatly arranged on the organizer. We made sure every item had its designated place, and the client was pleased with how the kitchen turned out.
